Policy
Community High School of Arts and Academics accepts student applications throughout the year.
A personal interview and a school visit will be scheduled after the completed application, letters of recommendation and school transcripts have been received. The interview and visit are essential parts of the application process.
Applicants will be informed of our acceptance decision by May 15. Students who apply after the April deadline will be considered if there is available space.
Families requesting financial aid should submit a statement of need and a copy of their most recent tax return with the application.
Students are accepted to Community High School without regard to race, color, national or ethnic origin and religion.
Requirements
For admission to Community High School of Arts and Academics, applicants must be able to demonstrate either personally or through support materials:
- An enthusiasm for learning
- The ability to work well independently and in groups
- The skill to perform effectively in a variety of settings
- Curiosity, creativity, open mindedness
- A nimble sense of humor
- And, above all, a deep respect for themselves, each other, and their community
